“My NHS practice is based at Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, an internationally acclaimed and one of the largest specialist orthopaedic units in Europe and ranked by Newsweek as one of the best orthopaedic institutions in the world. I also provide a tertiary level specialist paediatric foot and ankle care at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Alongside my clinical practice, I am very passionate about research and surgical innovation. I completed a Master's degree at the University of Edinburgh and was awarded Distinction for my research work on surgical education. I served as the Birmingham Orthopaedic Network Lead for Research and Audit in 2019/2020. I have authored a textbook chapter and published articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals and have been awarded various academic prizes.
Throughout my career, I have been actively involved with teaching of undergraduate medical students and postgraduate surgical trainees. I am recognised as a clinical and educational supervisor for surgical trainees and medical students by the General Medical Council.
